Agreement

By accessing or using QuantAssure, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Service Description

QuantAssure is a security posture management platform that helps organisations aggregate security findings from various tools, manage compliance, and track remediation efforts. The platform includes data collection agents, a dashboard interface, AI-powered analysis, and reporting capabilities.

Your Account

When you create an account with QuantAssure, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or security breaches

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use QuantAssure to:

  • Engage in any illegal activities or violate any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or other users
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform
  • Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Use the service to scan or assess systems you do not own or have authorisation to assess

Your Data

Regarding the data you provide to or generate through QuantAssure:

  • You retain ownership of all data you provide to the service
  • You grant us a licence to process, store, and analyse your data solely to provide the service
  • We will not sell your data to third parties
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to share data from connected integrations
  • You are responsible for compliance with data protection regulations applicable to your organisation

Integrations

When you connect third-party services to QuantAssure (such as GitHub, AWS, or MDM platforms), you authorise us to access data from those services on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring your use of these integrations complies with the terms of service of those third-party providers.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but:

  • We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted service
  • We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice

Limitation of Liability

QuantAssure is a tool to assist you in managing your security posture. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law:

  • We are not responsible for security decisions you make based on our analysis
  • The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee that the service will detect all security issues
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim

Subscription and Billing

QuantAssure offers multiple subscription tiers:

  • The Free tier requires no payment and includes limited features
  • The Pro subscription is billed monthly
  • Prices may change with 30 days advance notice
  • No refunds are provided for partial months or unused portions of a subscription
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period

Termination

Regarding account termination:

  • You may close your account at any time through the dashboard settings
  • We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any reason with 30 days notice
  • We may immediately terminate accounts engaged in illegal activity or causing harm to others
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless legally required to retain it
  • You may request a data export before closing your account

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and any courts that may hear appeals from those courts.
